Thank you to all who joined us for a fun and informative evening with our host Bank of Montreal. We enjoyed terrific networking and 2 wonderful speakers. Not to mention the Peller Estates wine and Sleemans beer was incredible and paired with some amazing treats from Bingemans' chefs.
Doug Porter delivered an insightful and humourous presentation about the Canadian economic outlook, complete with a very relevant clip from Rick Mercer.
Nora Spinks educated us about how our experiences as 10 year olds can shape our future habits, and be huge indicators of the generation we represent. Her story-telling was endearing and comedic, especially hearing of her 94 year old mother who has opened a Twitter account! All of her gems were helpful in trying to understand the various generations now represented in our workplaces.
In total, thanks in part to an amazing anonymous donor, over $50,000 was raised for our local hospital foundations: St. Mary's General Hospital, Cambridge Memorial Hospital and Grand River Hospital.
This brings the total raised over 4 years to $215,000!!!
Way to go BMO!
A special thank you to BMO and the many sponsors who made the event possible:
McCarter Grespan Beynon Wier
and many others!
