Dr. Asa Ahimbisibwe raises funds for CMHF through his novels "Hopeful" and "Squirrel the Bully"

“Hopeful" was written by Dr. Asa Ahimbisibwe, CMH Obstetrician to honour his parents who – in his words – had reckless hope in the power of education and to put a spotlight on the importance of providing education to girls in developing countries. Dr. Ahimbisibwe has set a goal of raising $10,000 for CMHF through his book proceeds.

"Squirrel the Bully" addresses the issue of bullying and what can be done by children to stand up against it, as well as illustrating the importance of celebrating difference. It also speaks to the fact that keeping quiet in the face of bullying when not directed at you is not good.
