CMH Honoured with Eagle Feather at Feasting the Feather Ceremony

Our Hospital was honoured to receive an Eagle Feather from Clarence Cachagee of Chapleau First Nation earlier this month during our feasting the feather ceremony. This sacred gift symbolizes trust, honour, strength, wisdom, and freedom, representing a strengthened direction towards unity and reconciliation.

Originally, CMH received a Hawk Feather from Clarence during the opening of Wing A in 2020. Now displayed in our Main Lobby, the Eagle Feather offers its spirit to all who enter and serves as a reminder of our commitment to supporting Indigenous Peoples on their journey toward reconciliation.

Because of You, CMH is Future Ready!

It takes a village to build a healthy community, and you, our supporters have shown the strength of that commitment.

We are thrilled to launch our latest Community Report which shows CMH’s journey toward becoming the most technologically advanced hospital in Waterloo Region.

Our Community’s Commitment to Healthcare

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the Islamic Centre of Cambridge and Cambridge Muslim Society for their recent generous donations. Both organizations have been longstanding supporters of CMH and have helped us purchase essential equipment that benefits all our patients.

We are truly grateful for their commitment to our mission and their ongoing partnership.

CMH Receives Graham Seed Fund Award for Health-Tech Solutions

In the ever-changing digital era, CMH has focused on transforming systems and improving workforce management to create a more efficient healthcare environment. This intention to modernize received a recent boost when CMH received the Graham Seed Fund award from the University of Waterloo. This funding will support two innovative projects in our Surgery and Laboratory Departments, employing artificial intelligence (AI) and robotic technology.

#DidYouKnow: All equipment at Cambridge Memorial Hospital is purchased with the generous support of our community.

Your monthly donation is an on-going investment in priority equipment needs and demonstrates your support of our Community Hospital and the importance of keeping care close to home.

This month, we spotlight two of our proud monthly donors: Catharina (Kitty) Crezel, CMH Volunteer and Dr. Anjali Sharma, Chief of Psychiatry at CMH.

Join our proud members of the Community!

Va Va Vroom…

On the beautiful morning of September 15, local FUNdraiser Daniel Klein hosted the second annual Gaslight Charity Car Show, showcasing some of the most stunning and exotic vehicles in town. We applaud Daniel’s commitment to support his Hospital to buy essential equipment for everyone in the Community. So far, he has raised $12,000.
