Billie-Anne Arthur

Billie-Anne Arthur takes a vision and makes it reality through sound strategy development. She intuitively sees the threads of opportunity that wind through an organization, brings them together into a coherent whole and helps others extend their thinking. She is an inspirational leader who tells stories that inspire action while at the same time is grounded in financial information that levers the business.  Respected as a credible voice in decision making, finding strategic financing partners, and establishing governance boundaries.

Billie-Anne has worked in the hospitality sector for 40 years, with the past 8 years at The Cambridge Hotel & Conference Centre as the Managing Director.  Billie-Anne has been instrumental in the growth of The Cambridge Hotel and B Hospitality. The Cambridge Hotel have been proud recipients to Cambridge Chamber Awards, 2019 Spirit of Cambridge Awards, 2018 Outstanding Workplace-Employer of the Year, 2017 New Venture of the Year – B Hospitality.  She has managed full service as well as select-service properties in almost every sector of the business.  She has hotel opening experience and loves to take care of her guests.

Billie-Anne has several years of experience volunteering with Dutch Boy Drum & Bugle Corps as Vice President and Volunteer Parent as a member of the Waterloo Tourism Marketing Corporation.  She has also participated in fundraising for many years with Dutch Boy Drum & Bugle Corps and Princess Margaret Hospital, “Weekend to Conquer Cancer” for many years.

Billie-Anne and her family are lifelong residents of the community and is a proud and is mom to adult twins, Sarah and Cody.  Billie-Anne’s husband, Gary is a business owner of a security company in the community.
