Connie Titizian, a lifelong resident of Cambridge, immigrated to Canada from the Netherlands as an infant. Connie studied in the Canadian Institute of Management program at University of Waterloo, and spent 10 years working senior admin roles in the publishing industry before devoting her skills to volunteer positions while raising her family.
Over the course of those 20 years, Connie applied her administrative and organizational expertise to a wide variety of volunteer positions at Woodland Park Public School and Sue Bottrill Dance Studio. A graduate of Galt Collegiate Institute, she volunteered on the organizing committees for her 25th class reunion, and the school’s 150th reunion in 2002.
Connie has always been passionate about Cambridge and her volunteer work. She is very involved in the local Armenian community, volunteering on the Board of their Saturday Language School, serving as past Chair of the local chapter of the Armenian Relief Society, and has also volunteered with St. Nishan Armenian Apostolic Church and the resettlement program for Syrian-Armenian refugees in the Cambridge area. She is a member of the organizing committee for the Armenian Prelacy Golf Tournament, which has raised funds to benefit the Cambridge Memorial Hospital Foundation since 2009. She believes that a thriving community such as Cambridge requires a full-scale modern hospital to maintain the needs of its residents.
Connie’s husband, Mike, is the President of the Canadian Head Office of an international manufacturing company located in Cambridge. They have been married since 1982, and have 2 adult daughters, Lenna and Talina.
