Trevor McWilliams has spent over 28 years working for the City of Cambridge holding various roles including 16 years in Development Planning and six years as Senior Development Planner. Trevor is currently the Manager of Business Development in the Economic Development Division (INVEST Cambridge) at the City of Cambridge.
Trevor has been part of many projects and has participated as a member, co-Chair or Chair on several committees within our community. He is currently Staff Liaison of the Economic Development Advisory Committee for the City of Cambridge and served for almost seven years as the Secretary-Treasurer to the City of Cambridge Committee of Adjustment. Trevor’s proudest professional achievement has been serving with the INVEST Cambridge Team.
Trevor has a Bachelor of Arts in Urban and Physical Geography and English. Trevor also holds memberships with Ontario Professional Planners Institute, the Canadian Institute of Planners, and is a Registered Professional Planner (RPP). He has been honoured to volunteer as a guest instructor at Conestoga College for Planning Law as well as the University of Waterloo for various planning courses. He has also been honoured to be a Co-operative Leader for students at the Waterloo Regional District and Waterloo Catholic District School Boards.
