Trees of Caring— The Tradition Continues
For 36 years, Trees of Caring has been a cherished tradition in our Community. Together, we have been celebrating and honouring our loved ones while making a meaningful difference in our Community.
A Legacy of Love and Generosity
This year, we honour the memory of Lall Persaud, a devoted husband, uncle and father, whose kindness touched many lives.
His wife, Kumarie calls him, “the thread that weaves the fabric of our family together and his life and legacy continue to inspire us.”
After moving to Canada from Guyana in 1991, Lall built a fulfilling life in Cambridge, raising two children and fostering deep connections within the community.

“As Lall’s wife, I am very proud that his joy came from helping others.“

Lall’s battle with esophageal cancer began with troubling symptoms, but he faced the diagnosis with unwavering strength and resilience.
“Like so many other people facing a cancer diagnosis, he became an expert on his disease and an advocate for improved treatments in our Community.”

His family remembers him as a man who found joy in giving back.
Lall’s spirit lives on through the impact he made, and his legacy continues to inspire his loved ones to honour him through acts of kindness and support for those in need.
You Can Light Up Lives
This holiday season, honour someone special.
Each donation helps buy essential equipment and creates a warm and welcoming environment for those in need of care.

Thank you for your kindness and support during this special season. Together, we make it possible.
