Cambridge, Ontario – The Cambridge Memorial Hospital Foundation is proud to announce that Faisal Susiwala, ranked the #1 Individual Re/Max Agent Worldwide, will be the CaringLEAD Sponsor for CMHReveal, Cambridge’s largest healthcare fundraising gala, for the next three years, until 2027.
This partnership, beginning with the 2025 CMHReveal event on February 21, 2025 at Tapestry Hall, will play a key role in boosting support to the Foundation and raising funds for essential equipment for CMH.
“We are grateful to Re/Max Twin City Faisal Susiwala Realty for stepping up as our CaringLEAD Sponsor. His commitment to healthcare and to the Community is truly inspiring,” says Lisa Short, President and CEO of Cambridge Memorial Hospital Foundation. “CMHReveal is CMHF’s most significant event of the year and aims to make raising funds for healthcare the talk of the town. With our new sponsorship partner, Faisal Susiwala, we are confident we can build on the success of previous years and elevate CMHReveal to new heights.”
“We are very appreciative to all our sponsors and those who often step forward during this annual event to raise the funds needed to bring new equipment to Cambridge Memorial Hospital. Since 2020, CMHReveal has become an annual celebration of local generosity to healthcare,” added Short.
Faisal Susiwala has been serving the Waterloo Region since 1988, and his support for the Community, especially local healthcare, is truly inspiring. A long-time supporter of CMH, Susiwala made a generous donation in 2017 to the Hospital, representing a dollar for every resident of Cambridge in honour of the Susiwala family. Now, as the CaringLEAD of CMHReveal, Susiwala’s ongoing commitment reflects his dedication to support local healthcare.
“Recently I had the chance to tour our new Hospital. I was amazed at the technology that will equip our doctors and staff to provide exceptional care for their patients,” notes Susiwala. “We hope this sponsorship might inspire others to do what they can to support CMH and fund this new Mammography Unit for our Community.”
In 2025, CMHReveal will feature a vibrant Fiesta Mexicana theme, offering lively music, delicious food and a night of community celebration. The event will be hosted by none other than Layne the Auctionista. Guests will enjoy an evening of entertainment, networking, and auction bidding in support of their local Hospital.
This year’s gala aims to improve women’s health in the Community by raising funds for a new mammography unit. With the recent reduction in recommended mammography screening age to 40, this new unit will help enable earlier cancer detection, ensuring that more women in our Community can access essential care close to home.
CMHReveal has consistently drawn support from the local Community. Since its inception in 2020, the gala has raised over $1 million dollars to support the Hospital’s equipment needs. Last year, despite a snowstorm, more than 325 guests attended the gala, raising an impressive $506,000.
Re/Max Twin City Faisal Susiwala Realty is taking over the CaringLEAD presenting sponsorship, following the conclusion of the inaugural co-sponsorship by Cambridge Ford and Rego Realty at Corcoran Horizon.
Other sponsors of the 2025 CMHReveal include EllisDon, Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada (TMMC), TD Commercial Banking, Tapestry Hall, See Your House Now, Heffner Lexus, Smitty’s Fine Furniture, and Stantec. We thank our sponsors for helping us bring top-notch equipment to our physicians.
