Thanks to the generous support of our donors, CMH staff, and all of our CMH Champions, we are excited to share that Giving Tuesday 2024 was a huge success! Together, we raised over $57,000 towards Trees of Caring, over twenty thousand more than last year.
We are especially grateful for the added support from our three Boards of Directors—Hospital, Volunteer Association, and Foundation—who launched an internal matching campaign that raised over $22,000. Their generosity along with the support of so many others, helped make this Giving Tuesday one to remember.
In addition to an outpouring of online donors, this Giving Tuesday, we also hosted a special pop-up event at the Hospital. We offered complimentary mandarins (Thank you, Sobeys!), and held a draw to win one of several hand-crafted Afghan blankets donated by Carol, a CMHF donor.
A big thank you also goes out to the volunteers who helped make our pop-up event such a success. Your enthusiasm and commitment truly brought the event to life. And thanks to all staff and Hospital visitors for making the beautiful day extra bright with your generosity!
