Meals on Wheels Arrives
We’re excited to welcome Meals on Wheels to Cambridge Memorial Hospital. This initiative provides patients, especially those discharged after hours, after a long stay or on weekends, with nutritious frozen meals to ease their transition back home.
“It’s a game-changer for our patients,” says Andrea Brissette, Director of Medical Programs.
In partnership with Community Care Concepts, the initiative helps bridge the gap between hospital care and home recovery, ensuring patients have what they need to thrive in the comfort of their own homes.
“I see the impact firsthand.”
Yvonne has had a deep-rooted relationship with her local Hospital. This journey began back in 2005, when her husband had a stroke they had spend a summer at CMH for his care and healing. Inspired by the care he received, Yvonne and her husband joined the Hospital as volunteers.
Yvonne has witnessed CMH’s transformation over the years as a caretaker, volunteer, and later as a board member. From the first MRI to the opening of Wings A and B, she compares the Future Ready CMH with the first time she visited and calls the difference “night and day!”
She supports the Hospital not just with her time, but as a Foundation monthly donor and Legacy Circle member. “Monthly gifts are the way to go. Modest monthly donations can add up to something meaningful. And as a volunteer, I see the impact firsthand,” says Yvonne.
Bridging Innovation and Healthcare Technology
On July 16, CMH hosted the Health Tech Innovation Showcase, co-presented by MACcelerate and Communitech. Local innovators received feedback on their projects, aiming to bridge the gap between innovation and healthcare application.
Hospital staff, physicians and nurses connected with up-and-coming innovators and explored new technologies at the event. CMH is proud to support innovation that ensures Future Ready care.
Innovation is one of CMH’s core values. Through our Staff Innovation Fund, powered by Foundation donors and the Hospital Board, we are ensuring that ideas from within our team turn into impactful action. Thanks to our board and donor support, we remain committed to keeping CMH at the forefront of healthcare innovation.

You’re invited to the 4th annual Honda and Acura Car Show happening Sunday, August 10 at 227 Hespeler Rd, Cambridge from 10:00 AM. The event will feature a display of treasured Honda cars as you enjoy food, drinks, music and explore merchandise.
