This year’s Trees of Caring was one for the books! We are so proud to share that the 37-year-old cherished community tradition was a massive success, with donations growing by 23% this year.
Hundreds of lights, celebrating and honouring loved ones, decked out the cafeteria during the holidays. The generosity of more than 1700 donors helped raise over $470,000, ensuring our hospital stays Future Ready with new and modern equipment. Thanks to everyone who honoured someone special, made a gift and kept the tradition strong!

Trees of Caring would not have been a success without the instrumental support of our Spiritual Care team.

A big thanks to Rob Heintz, who was also this year’s appeal signatory, Olusola Sofekun (Olu) and Florence Juma for joining forces with the Foundation, shedding light on the important work they do and its impact on patient care.
Thank you for sharing some heartwarming stories that brought hope, warmth and love to our community this holiday season!
We would also like to thank our sponsors, the Trees of Caring Stars, for helping uplift the holiday magic. Support from local businesses and vendors also helps to boost our goals and raise funds for essential equipment needed in the hospital.
Thanks again to our 2025 Stars for their sponsorship.
