Our team is growing – introducing Sandra and Meghan

We’re excited to welcome Sandra Villarraga as our new Vice-President of Philanthropy! With more than 17 years of experience in the non-profit sector, Sandra will lead our philanthropic efforts and help us reach our ambitious goals in Major Giving to support essential equipment for our hospital.

We’re also pleased to introduce Meghan LeSouder as the Executive Operations Support. Meghan brings extensive experience working with hospital foundations across the Region and has been in the non-profit sector since 2017. In her role, she will support executive coordination, governance and day-to-day operations across the foundation.

Star Sponsors kick-start Trees of Caring

Before Trees of Caring officially launches in November, local businesses are already coming together to bring hope, healing and vital equipment to CMH. Last year’s Star Sponsors provided an incredible $46,510 boost to our holiday campaign.

This year, we invite you and your business to be a leading example of community generosity as a Trees of Caring Star Sponsor. When you join us as a Star, your commitment to local healthcare will be highlighted in November and December along the boulevard and throughout the hospital.

Scotiabank’s summer collection drive supports children in Paediatrics

This summer, Scotiabank and MD Financial Management collected toys, colouring supplies, and activity books. The donations will help bring comfort and joy to young patients and families in our Paediatrics department.

Thank you to the Scotiabank team and all community members who participated in this meaningful initiative.

Activity books and toys are an item from CMH’s Wishlist. One of our present needs is funding for an annual Disney+ subscription for Paediatrics.
