Cambridgetoday.ca raises $1,700 for Cambridge Memorial Hospital with second annual Teddy Bear Caper

CambridgeToday.ca hosts its second annual Teddy Bear Caper Fundraiser for Cambridge Memorial Hospital (CMH).

The Teddy Bear Caper gives local businesses the opportunity to purchase a teddy bear for a child (or adult) spending their holidays in the Hospital, providing a cuddly companion to patients who are unable to be with their loved ones while in treatment.

When patients receive their bear, they will see a little scarf with a ribbon attached to a tag. This tag has the name of the caring business that purchased the bear, so they know who is responsible for lifting their spirits.

In addition to CMH receiving 50 bears , all proceeds raised during this fundraiser are donated to CMHF, helping our Community Hospital invest in life-saving medical equipment. Medical equipment is one hundred percent Community funded, and every dollar donated helps to keep outstanding health care close to home

Overall, CambridgeToday.ca raised $1,700 to go towards the investment of a new MRI and provided countless smiles to children and adults in care at CMH over the holidays.

Thank you, CambridgeToday.ca for your time, effort, and contributions to our Community Hospital.

CMH is “beary” grateful for all that you do.
