Cambridge Muslim Society's donation to CMH in 2024

A deep-rooted Collaboration with Cambridge Muslim Society

In 1992, the Cambridge Muslim Society made its first donation to our Hospital, marking the beginning of a meaningful partnership rooted in respect and support for the community.

As we wrap up this Islamic History Month, we extend our gratitude to the Cambridge Muslim Society for their commitment to CMH and to community healthcare.

Usman Lalva, the Society’s President, emphasizes CMH’s vital role in delivering essential local healthcare. He shares, “our support and collaboration enable CMH to address urgent community health needs and promotes overall well-being for everyone.”

In a recent conversation, Mr. Lalva underscored the importance of this partnership, “together, we can improve the health and happiness of our neighborhood,” a sentiment echoed by the CMH Foundation.

The Society has also supported the Women and Children’s Department and contributed to the Capital Redevelopment Project in the past. Their investment is recognized by the naming of a patient room in honour of their support.

During this important month, and every day of the year, we express our gratitude for community partners such as the Cambridge Muslim Society.
