Members of Hespeler Legion, Branch 272, came by Cambridge Memorial Hospital to present a cheque to the Foundation for $10,000, supporting the purchase of a new MRI.
Our Foundation has had the support of the Branch since 1987, during which time they have contributed close to $145,000.
During the Covid-19 Pandemic, the Branch was able to complete some much-needed renovations, making it a go-to spot for meetings, celebrations, sporting events and fundraisers.
Not only is the Branch a vibrant social hub for the Community, it stays true to its roots by providing valuable support to local veterans and a place for members and their families to honour and remember the brave men and women that served our country.
The dedicated members volunteer their time by hosting events like dances and dinners (where you can find some of the best cabbage rolls around), with funds supporting the ongoing needs of the branch and the needs of organizations that help veterans in our Community.
