On behalf of the Cambridge Memorial Hospital and the Cambridge Memorial Hospital Foundation, we want to express our love and appreciation for the Muslim Community. We were deeply disturbed by the horrific news of a family in London, Ontario being run down and killed in a targeted attack. There is no place in our community for hate, ignorance and Islamophobia. We grieve alongside all of you this tremendous loss and we acknowledge the fear this may bring to members of your congregation.
As we have had the honour of partnering with you on many occasions, we have felt first-hand how the Muslim community has embraced the Hospital, and held us close and near to your hearts. We now turn our attention to finding ways to be there for all of you. We are committed to supporting you in grief, in fear and in healing.
