February Newsletter

Patrick Gaskin expresses his gratitude to the Susiwala family at CMHReveal. Faisal Susiwala’s father, Sikander, worked for years as a CMH security guard and was proud to attend CMHReveal in his son’s inaugural year as a Presenting Sponsor.

Thank You for making it a Fiesta to Remember!

We are so proud to announce that CMHReveal 2025, presented by Faisal Susiwala Realty, was a massive success! Thanks to our sponsors, guests, and our Community, we were able to crush our goal and raise an impressive $680,000 to support the purchase of the new Mammography Unit for CMH and additional pieces of equipment!

CMHReveal took place on Friday, February 21 at Tapestry Hall, where we were joined by over 300 guests dressed in their brightest attire. We saw an outpouring of Community support for CMH through ticket sales, donations, auction items, raffle tickets, and the Fund-a-Need auction.

The Foundation would like to extend its sincere thanks to all attendees, donors, and sponsors for their generosity in helping to ensure that CMH has the tools to provide exceptional care close to home.

Thank you to our Event Sponsors:

When was the last time you considered how much your donation means to the team at CMH?

Our next Seasonal Appeal has launched and should reach your mailbox this week. This letter reminds us of the momentous impact each donation can have on patient care.

You may not realize it, but your generosity helps provide the tools, expertise, and compassionate care at CMH. Our team of expert physicians, nurses, technicians and staff, are only able to provide exceptional care because of you.

Support from donors provides the latest medical equipment, innovative treatments, and compassionate care that thousands rely on. But we can’t stop now. Will you renew your support to keep CMH Future Ready?

Welcome to Communications Intern, Maariyah

Maariyah Khan, a student at Mohawk College and raised in Cambridge, has joined the Foundation Team for February and March (a couple of days per week) as part of her internship for Communications and Public Relations.

Maariyah first learned about the Foundation by attending one of our 3rd Party fundraisers. Recently, she had the opportunity to experience event communications first-hand at this year’s CMHReveal.

“My internship at the Foundation has been an incredibly rewarding experience so far, allowing me to contribute to the community while gaining valuable insights into healthcare and fundraising. I am grateful to the wonderful Foundation team for providing me with ‘real-world’ work experience. Since I was born at CMH, this truly feels like a full-circle moment and I’m beyond excited for what’s to come!”
