Thank you Bernardo

Celebrating Bernardo

This Volunteer Appreciation Week, we are deeply grateful for Bernardo Recine, CMH Foundation Board Secretary and his exceptional commitment to our community. Bernardo sees CMH and the Foundation as “a great conduit between the community and one of the most important institutions that we all rely on,” reflecting a strong commitment to local healthcare.

Born and raised in Cambridge, Bernardo has lived, work and spent decades giving back; organizing grassroot fundraisers, supporting many charities, coaching community sports and being a healthcare champion for the Region that he holds close to his heart.

From volunteering for local groups like Work For A Cure group and Fire Fighters of Cambridge’s Boot Drive to national charities like Canadian Cancer Society and Ronald McDonald House, Bernardo personifies the true values of volunteer spirit – selfless, proactive commitment to helping others.

With this dedication, Bernardo shares, “I have the motivation to support a great group and help move it forward in a positive way.” Having been born at CMH, he added, “It’s a great honour to be on the Board and I want to do as much as possible to encourage investment for CMH and keep our hospital ready for the future with the best services possible.”

Thank you for all that you do, Bernardo!
