Welcome to a Reimagined Online Concert Season

We're bringing The Elora Singers’ sound into your living rooms with all new, pre-recorded programs. Concerts are available on demand via YouTube until January 4th.

This concert series is free for all CMH Staff & Donors.

The Elora Singers, an all-professional Grammy- and JUNO-nominated chamber choir was founded in 1980 and is the ensemble-in-residence of the Elora Festival for three weeks each summer. Through regular concert series, recordings, and touring, The Elora Singers has established a reputation as one of the finest chamber choirs in Canada. With twelve releases on the NAXOS label, The Elora Singers is known for its rich, warm sound and clarity of texture. The choir is renowned for its diverse styles, for its commitment to Canadian repertoire, and for its diverse collaborations with other Canadian and international artists. Recent and upcoming collaborations include the State Choir LATVIJA, Festival of the Sound, Swiss Piano Trio, Natalie MacMaster and Steven Page. A new recording featuring new works by Barbara Croall (Giishkaapkag) and Reena Esmail (This Love between Us) will be released in 2020.

December 5: A Quiet Village

Reflective and sumptuous music for the season with The Elora Singers and harpist Julia Seager-Scott, featuring music by Canadian composers and Marie-Claire Saindon (Constellation) and the sounds of Christmas with Benjamin Britten’s Ceremony of Carols, arranged for mixed choir.

December 12: A Village Messiah

An Elora tradition!  Highlights from Handel’s glorious Messiah with soloists drawn from The Elora Singers, accompanied by the Festival Orchestra.

December 19: A Festival of Carols

Joyous Christmas music by The Elora Singers with charming, nostalgic readings by Canadian celebrities, read from their homes!
