The healthiest of beginnings for babies, and wellbeing of our children is a priority for all families in our Region. Together, we make it possible.

Your donations to the Pediatrics Unit will directly impact our youngest patients. Patients like baby Cohen. Please take a moment to hear Tom, Alicia and Cohen's story below.

About CMH Pediatrics: Part of the Women & Children’s Department, the 11-bed Pediatric unit provides a calm setting for overnight stays and pre and post-surgical care. Join us for a Virtual Chat, on the novel "Hopeful" written by Dr. Asa Ahimbisibwe on Thursday, November 26th, at 7:00pm.

CMH Obstetrician. Dr. Asa could have easily not become a doctor. Growing up in Uganda, Africa, the young professional always had the world pushing against him, but his desire to obtain an education persisted until he found success.

Even though his dream of becoming a medical professional came true, his female family members have not been as fortunate due to the lack of support for women’s health and education in developing countries.

Hopeful is an account of Dr. Ahimbisibwe and his cousin who, born in disadvantaged villages in Uganda, embark on the uphill task of changing their lives, but end up in completely different places.

Dr. Ahimbisibwe has set a goal of raising $10,000 for CMHF through his book proceeds.

Registration details will be sent to you in your confirmation email with a link to join the event.

Please note this is a free event to attend. If you would like to purchase a copy of the novel to read in advance click below and it will be mailed to you for $25.
