Welcoming Eric Bergeron– One of 3 New CMHF Board Members!
We are excited to welcome and introduce Eric Bergeron, our newest CMHF board member. Eric has been attending our events and been a loyal corporate funding champion for several years.
“I chose to join the CMH Foundation board as it is important for the people of Cambridge & North Dumfries to keep the world-class health care and services right here in our Community. It is the ongoing generosity of the Community that keeps the critical equipment at CMH in shape,” says Eric.
As a Senior Relationship Manager at TD Commercial Bank, Eric has been a champion for local businesses and non-profits since 2015, providing tailored banking solutions that drive community growth.
In his free time, he enjoys kayaking and hiking with his fiancé, Clare, in the beautiful Waterloo Region. Welcome aboard, Eric!

Recapping Islamic History Month at CMH
October marks Islamic History Month, and this year, CMH celebrated the rich history of Muslims in Canada, dating back to 1854. We recognized this legacy with our colleagues and the community, highlighting the contributions of our Muslim friends through various platforms.
Throughout the month, CMH shared educational resources with staff to foster understanding and inclusivity. CMHF shared more about our generous partners, the Cambridge Muslim Society and the Islamic Center of Cambridge– the highlighted links will take you to individual articles on each!

Angelo Receives Outstanding Volunteer in Philanthropy Award
We are thrilled to announce that Angelo Loberto has been honored with the Outstanding Volunteer in Philanthropy Award for the Kitchener-Waterloo Region by the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP).
Since 2007, Angelo has been a dedicated CMH Champion, by contributing his time and efforts through various fundraising and volunteer initiatives. His invaluable knowledge and advocacy has played a key role in bringing exceptional healthcare in the community; particularly as a member of the Capital Redevelopment Committee, where he encouraged Provincial support for the hospital expand and the Foundation find Community and Ministry support for the expansion campaign. His recent generous donation also boosted our Spotlight campaign to secure a new MRI.
Angelo has also served terms as the CMH and CMHF Board Chair and is currently a CMHF Ambassador. We are extremely thankful to Angelo for continually helping us ensure that everyone receives exceptional care close to home.

We are excited to announce the successful completion of our seasonal appeal supporting the Regional Liver Health Program at CMH.
“The expertise, care, and compassion I received at CMH were crucial as I waited for a new liver. The Liver Clinic kept me alive until my transplant,” shared Adam Zinger, a grateful CMH patient. Adam also led his own fundraising challenge, with funds matched by his employer, Denso Manufacturing.
