Downtown Cambridge BIA generously donated silent auction proceeds and 25 % of ticket sales from Cambridge Wedding Week to Cambridge Memorial Hospital (CMH) to support the purchase of a new MRI.
Executive Director – Brian Kennedy and Digital Marketing Specialist & Marketing & Member Engagement Manager – Em Rowswell from Downtown Cambridge BIA came to CMH to celebrate their event’s success and their $5,000 donation to CMH Foundation!
The Downtown Cambridge BIA planned 10 events over a one-week period so future brides and grooms could experience what the city had to offer on their special day.
A partnership was formed with over 60 businesses to create “an exceptional, intimate experience for visitors who will be able to meet with industry professionals to discuss their services,” says a press release.
On the final day of Wedding Week, the Community was invited to Tapestry Hall to participate in the CWW’s closeout event for 2023 – The Wedding Party. One lucky couple won a beautiful pop – up wedding ceremony at the stunning venue for all the party- goers to witness!
Two representatives from Cambridge Memorial Hospital Foundation spoke at the event, explaining the Hospital Funding Model, and thanking Down Town Cambridge and attendees for helping to raise awareness and funds for a new MRI for CMH!
