Cambridge, ON (September 29, 2021) A new CMH Champion campaign aims to rally our community around CMH by sharing inspirational messages of gratitude. Thanksgiving is approaching and CMHF intends to highlight all that our community can be grateful for. This campaign encourages local residents to place a lawn sign that reads ‘Proud CMH Champion’ on your business or residence curbside, or purchase a CMH Champion t-shirt to let frontline health care providers know just how much you care/they are appreciated.
“The pandemic has been challenging for everyone at CMH. These small acts of support, gratitude, and kindness can go a long way to show how important CMH is to our community,” notes Patrick Gaskin, CEO, Cambridge Memorial Hospital.
“Cambridge and North Dumfries have been there for CMH. We know that the community values and respects the important role of health care professionals. Our goal is to share stories of gratitude with the community and thank them for their support of CMH. Together, we make it possible” adds Lisa Short, Executive Director, Cambridge Memorial Hospital Foundation.
In addition to signs and t-shirts, Cambridge Memorial Hospital Foundation will be sharing stories of hope and gratitude from front line workers, volunteers and donors on social media throughout the month of October. The organization encourages all members of the community to share their gratitude and reasons for being a Champion of CMH on their social media using the hashtags: #CMHChampion #Togetherwemakeitpossible #ProudCMHChampion #gratitude
