Gore Gives Back at CMH with Gore Mutual Community Day

On June 23, CMH and CMHF welcomed 2 teams of Gore Mutual Employees who were participating in a special community support activity. One team provided valuable communication engagement feedback to CMHF, and the other assisted with hospital grounds cleanup and beatification.

“As two of Cambridge’s oldest institutions, Gore Insurance and Cambridge Memorial Hospital have enjoyed a remarkable longstanding friendship.  Gore’s ongoing generosity and support of local healthcare demonstrates their deep commitment to our community and all residents. We deeply appreciate their partnership.”, says Patrick Gaskin, President and CEO, Cambridge Memorial Hospital.

Gore has been a generous donor and partner of CMH for decades. In celebration of Gore Mutual Foundation’s 25th Anniversary, about 400 Gore employees stepped away from their desks to support 30 charitable organizations throughout the Community.

Gore has generously invested $1.3 million in CMH over the years, and in recognition of their latest $500,000 gift, CMH’s Rehabilitation Unit in Wing B (currently under redevelopment) will be named in Gore’s honour.

Thank you Gore and the Gore Mutual Foundation, for being such valued partners, and for all that you do for Cambridge Memorial Hospital and our Community.
